How It Started
From combat boots to white coat
Before my days of wearing a white coat, I wore combat boots in the US Army. I served for 4 years as a Geospatial Engineer or topographer where I worked inside a safe providing specialized maps for various missions. My training in the military provided me with the discipline and focus to transition out of the army into pharmacy school.
I had a nontraditional graduate school experience. This included navigating life at a branch campus, working 2 jobs, researching, and even overcoming a divorce as a grad student!
